When are your opening hours?
12 noon until 8pm and 9pm on Friday and Saturday, Tuesday to Sunday throughout the summer months.

Do I have to book?
No, you don't, but at busy times you may have to queue until a table is ready for you. We'll make sure you’re able to do this in a socially distanced way, with markings and signage to help you stay safe. Sloane Square also offers plenty of standing space to enjoy your drink.

What will you be serving?
We will be serving a varied selection of drinks including coffees and teas, juices and smoothies, craft beers (bottled), our full wine list and cocktails. Our sausage rolls will definitely be available, and other snacks of course. But for the moment, we won't be opening our kitchen for our normal food service until we're able to fully reopen the building safely.

How are you keeping customers safe?
We want to keep you and our staff safe and healthy. We work with an external advisor and auditor called Food Alert to make sure we adhere to updated Covid-19 standards. They support us with risk assessments and staff training. You can find more about this on our website.
All tables will be placed at least two metres away from each other, and will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each use. We will have two hand sanitiser stations setup in the square where you can disinfect your hands. Customers will be able to order from the pop-up bar, which is designed to accommodate social distancing. Or they can order through our mobile app by scanning the QR code or going to courtinthesquare.co.uk. We will deliver the order to the table and take contactless (card or device) payment. We ask that people gather in groups of no more than six, in accordance with government guidelines.

How are you keeping your staff safe?
We're able to open this pop up bar because of the co-operation of our brilliant bar team. Their safety is our priority.
We're only bringing key personal back to run our pop-up bar and encourage our team to travel to work without using public transport. Our non-operational staff continues to work remotely to ease pressure on TFL and reduce the risk of spreading the virus. Our pop-up bar and the seating in the square is designed to allow our visitors and our team members to social distance. Where team members can't social distance due to the nature of their job we will provide suitable PPE and assess if that allow to carry out the task safely. If that's not the case, those tasks won't take place. We will build our rotas so staff work with the same team members in small, socially-distanced groups. All staff will fill out a daily questionnaire at the start of their shifts and attend a safety briefing.

Anyone displaying any symptoms of CODVID-19 will be asked to stay home, self-isolate and get tested in accordance with government guidelines. No one will be asked to work if they feel uncomfortable doing so and we will continue to assess the safety of our visitors and team members.


Will there be performances in the Square?
That's not our plan for the moment. The Royal Court Theatre will start making work again when it is safe to do so. We hope to start welcoming audiences back into our building in the Autumn. Keeping checking royalcourttheatre.com for news.

Will toilet facilities be available?
As our building has been closed for a while, we're not quite ready to let visitors back in our theatre and therefore we can't offer toilet facilities at this time. However we've partnered with our friends at restaurant Colbert (located next toe the theatre), you can use their facilities. Just tell them you're visiting Court in the Square and they'll take you to their toilets. We ask that you follow their safety protocols and instructions at all times. 

What payments methods do you accept?
To guarantee your and our safety we currently don't accept cash or cheque payments. We take all cards (including American Express) and there's no minimum order.

Can I still get a receipt?
We can still provide you with a receipt. The printer will be placed so that we don't have to touch your receipt. We can also email you a till receipt on request.
